Ambassadors

The ambassadors of The Western Thoroughbred are exceptional horsemen and horsewomen that ride and train Thoroughbreds in western disciplines. All of our ambassadors have diverse equestrian backgrounds but share a love for Thoroughbreds.

History

Thoroughbreds played an integral role in the development of modern performance horses. The conformation, speed, and agility of select Thoroughbreds contributed to the talent of other breeds. Today, the names of Thoroughbreds can be found stamped in the pedigrees of proven racing, barrel racing, cutting, reining, roping, pleasure, and halter horses.

Database

We have compiled a database that includes every Thoroughbred we have ever featured on our social media. The database contains each horse’s Jockey Club registered name, gender, year of birth, state, sire, dam, dam sire, race record, earnings, post-track western disciplines, and a link to a photo. Follow the links below to access the database!
